My $5.00 Glass Door

A thrift store was closing their doors and had to dump things cheap...it was the last day. I got this beautiful glass door with etched detail and bevelled little panels.

I didn't know really what I was going to use it for, but I just knew I would find a use somewhere for it.

It fit perfect in my little outdoor get away room. This is my play area where I do my crafts and listen to all my birds I raise.Im in the middle of all my cages. The cooing of the doves and the whistles of the quails makes it a peaceful get away.

  @Miriam I I did. There was nothing behind the garage except woods. I started clearing it out all by hand to bare ground. Once I got that done my husband built me a large aviaries for my birds. Over years I got more birds which led to more aviaries ....Eight total. From that I started making it my get away place. I do most of my crafts outside and love being with my birds in my own little world.
