DIY Dishwasher Detergent Storage Jars
by

Not only did I find a dishwasher detergent that works on hard water stains, but I went "outside of the box" and created my own storage for the detergent. Boxes take up room and I could just picture the detergent in jars with cute labels. So, I raided my jar stash and my craft supplies to create this:
A wide mouth jar holds the pods and taller jar that was about the same size as the original packaging holds the power booster.
I used removable letter stencils and glass paint markers to trace the appropriate words on the jar. The stencil job isn't perfect, but I still think the labels turned out cute.
I kept the lid on this jar and just used gold Rub n Buff to cover up the food label. The lid can easily be removed when it's time to add the detergent to the dishwasher.
