Updating a Powder Room Ceiling With Wainscot Paneling

My mom's powder room was a beautiful traditional space, but needed more architectural interest on the ceiling. To achieve this, we installed some traditional wainscot beadboard panels on the ceiling and finished it with a border and some molding.
It transforms the space and makes it feel less like the room was constructed in 2013 (which is was) and instead makes it feel like it has been there 100s of years.

The ceiling before. It was so bland, especially compared to the gorgeous window

Meg Hauss Aguilar on Jan 01, 2015This is what we are going to do with our kitchen ceiling. We just removed a false ceiling with the hard plastic panels and metal frame. We've just got a normal white ceiling now with flat panel LED lights, but we want to install bead board with recessed lighting.
