Mud Room Coat Rack Bench From Two Old Doors!

I salvaged two old doors from a 1916 home that was slated for demolition. I knew there had to be something wonderful I could do with solid wood doors....and here's what I did!
To make the bench, I first made a base the width of the two doors from 2 x 4's
For the actual bench, I used a sheet of MDF (medium density fiberboard) and made a bench from sections cut 18" x 49" (the top and bottom), and side pieces 14" x 18", and braces 13" x 18"
Next, I put the two old doors on a couple of saw horses, and gave them a good sanding with my orbital sander.
