Ikea Lamp Hack

This isn't so much a hack as it is a painted Ikea lamp... I just like to use to use the word hack since it's a common way of describing an Ikea product that's been altered in some way.
I bought these lamps since they were right dimensions and a perfect price for my limited budget. I like the shade, but the silver color just wasn't quite right up against my renter beige walls. I turned to my trusty spray paint to help me with this problem. After trying several different brands of spray paint, I definitely prefer Rust-Oleum to all the rest. Especially their Metallic line.
