Woodbridge Environmental Tiptophouse.com on Aug 28, 2014there is a lot of information regarding the recycling of gray water. However there are just as many rules and regulations that must be followed when using this resource. Bio hazards are just one of the many concerns that regulators have when it comes to reusing captured gray water. A good place to start is http://www.whollyh2o.org/ This site has a lot of useful information about this growing industry. IN any case always before you put a plan into action, check with your local municipality to make sure its allowed. There are several states that do not even allow capture of rain water in barrels off of roof gutters. You can imagine the regulations they have in place for water that has been used. Keep everyone posted on what you decide to do if anything.Helpful Reply

Jeanette S on Aug 29, 2014Gray water is not potable so it should not be let loose in the ground or in streams. There are systems that filter the water...my sister has one for her sewage. It does not take up a lot of space and it produces potable water, but it can be rather costly to install.Helpful Reply
