Tin Ceiling Tile Becomes Fab Dorm Décor

My daughter fell in love with this tin ceiling tile while we were junking this summer. I bought it for her and she added some fabulous color to it to truly make it her own.
The tile was in great shape. She scrubbed it several times to remove as much of the loose paint as possible. I loved it like this, but she had a vision for it.
She chose Krylon Color Master Paint + Primer in Sea glass.
She put on about 3-4 light coats and even though her tile is big ( about 20" X 20") there is still some left in the can.
She changed her angle for painting often since there was so much texture to the piece.
To top it off and protect it, she used Krylon Color Master Clear Flat. She is really loving the chalky finish look right now.
It turned out amazing. She took it to school and her dad screwed it into the wood strips above her bed. It already has holes where it was originally hung. She can use magnets to attach her favorite photos, messages, and mementos.
