Touchscreen Locks: End the Need for Keys
So this past weekend I installed a touchscreen key less door lock.
I LOVE IT.
Not only does it work like a charm but my kids can open the door.
Plus, if we ever need to get someone into the house all they need is a pin code.
SWEET.
This is something that might be your next project. Trust me.
For a complete tutorial check out my blog post and video.
Plus, there's a tiny surprise at the end. Don't miss out.

Change of Art on Sep 02, 2014I just installed a keyless (code) deadbolt, too – it's really handy for out of town guests.

I have a coded door lock for my home. I especially like that it also works with a key in case the battery dies. Which is a serious consideration for me! I also like having the coded entry so that in case of emergency I can give the code & the home can be entered in my absence. That is my objection to the fingerprint option for everything. I certainly don't one of my children to have to use my dead finger to get into my phone or my home! I am thinking in those lines more now since my husband passed away suddenly, & I am nearing 80 yrs old. I know that that day comes unexpectedly! : ) I am grateful that I know I have a home prepared in Heaven for me, & I know that I will be going there. It is without fear, but also I want that time to be as easy for my family as possible! God has been extremely good to me through the years, & because He promised me a home in Heaven if I trusted him with my life, I made that choice & so eternity holds no fear for me! May each once who reads this also enjoy the blessing of His promised gift of eternal life.
