Crochet Afghans

Some afghan I have finished crocheting in the last couple of months. I love the scale stitch and just learned it. It is much easier than I thought! I love to crochet, and the challenge of learning new stitches such as the scale (some call it crocodile) stitch.
A simple hexagon afghan in very soft variegated pinks.
A scale stitch baby afghan in soft variegated colors. No ribbon in this one.
Scale stitch baby afghan in pale mint green with matching ribbon.
And matching booties.
A chevron popcorn afghan.
Baby blanket in cream scale stitch with booties.
A rocking shell pattern

I love to knit but cannot seem to get my head or fingers around crochet, despite a friends best efforts to teach me. Great work! @Carole I am just the opposite. I tried to teach myself to knit years ago and just can't control two needles! Maybe because my grandmother taught me to crochet when I was so young I can't really remember not knowing how. Thanks for the heads up on Knitting Paradise - going to check it out now.
