How to Get Rid of Weeds With Vinegar, Salt and Dish Soap

4 cups of vinegar
2 cups of salt
1/4 cup of Dawn dish soap
Boil 4 cups of vinegar in a kettle and pour it into the watering can. Be careful not to burn yourself.
Pour 2 cups of salt to the hot vinegar and swish it around until it dissolves.
Add 1/4 cup of dish soap and mix it gently until everything is dissolved.
The homemade weed killer is ready to use.
Choose a sunny day when there is no rain in the forecast for a day or two and pour the homemade weed killer onto the weeds. After a couple of days the weeds will have shriveled up and died and they will be easy to pull up.

Hi from New Zealand. Have seen this recipe before on this site, but they didn't mention boiling the water, though must admit using boiled water is likely to work much faster. Will try it and see how it goes.
