French Crate Project

I found a plain wooden crate at Goodwill and spruced it up. Some Annie Sloan Chalk Paint and a few image transfers later and I now have a little French crate to hold my mason jars filled with flowers from the garden. Directions for this project are on my blog.

A whitewash coat of Pure White went on next, wiping off the excess.

A French graphic was transferred using Mod Podge.

Hydrangeas and cone flowers from the garden kept this project affordable.

Thanks everyone! The flowers are struggling this year in the extreme heat, but I managed to grab a few that didn't look wilted.
