My new $20 La-Z-Boy recliner. I couldn't believe such a bargain. I love the size and style for this room. Actually in really great shape, however I will have it recovered in a fabric that goes with my room. Next week off to look.

Betty Reeves on Mar 14, 2015I found a Lazy Boy chair for $60 and it looked really nice, but I was afraid of bed bugs so I did not purchase it. A lady across from me purchase a used chair and got bed bug. I sure would not want to get into that.

22busy on Sep 02, 2016I did the same thing Betty. I bought a whole front room set at a yard sale. Then I noticed the people had a dog when I went to pick it up. I was scared of bed bugs and fleas. I couldn't bring myself to use it. It looked great but still I worried . I decided to be safe I'd never do that again. I lost $250 but just donated it. I know a lot of people don't worry about things like that or use something that should kill bugs. I'm with you though I'll never buy used upholstered again.

Karen Graham on Apr 13, 2015Your home looks lovely! I just love the fact that you found such a bargain, too. I think buffalo check would be great, but if you want to see if you would get tired of it, just buy a throw or piece of fabric and cover your chair for a while. If you like it then use the fabric for the chair, if not cover some pillows or make curtains. Kinda like buying paint samples.
