Quick, Simple Fix for Rattling Door

I thought of putting a door sweep, then weatherstripping the door frame to keep our bedroom door from rattling. Our bedroom door rattles all night with any kind of movement - little breeze from any open window, house settling, earth shaking, somebody breaking in At midnight last night, as I was desperately trying to sleep - little sticky pads for pots! I cut them in half, stuck them in several places on the frame where the door hits it. It worked. I slept really well last night. Oftentimes the answer is staring at us in the face. Zzzzz.
