Will this work over good ole "Z Brick"?

Woodbridge Environmental Tiptophouse.com on Sep 01, 2014Yes and no. If your talking about using the pre-glued style tile it will stick, but the surface of the Z brick is not even enough to provide a good bonding surface to its face. Z brick is held on using a thin set mortar material that should be easy enough to scrape off, If the wall had been painted prior that should make it even easier to do. I suggest to do it like the pros. Remove the brick and then tile it with the product your currently thinking of using. Any damage to the wall can be fixed fast using a quick setting spackle allowing it to dry for several hours, a light sanding and dust off and you should be ready to go with the new tile wall.Helpful Reply
