Flowers I made for a friends wedding

A friend of mine is getting married in October and has a really tight budget. He and his bride are doing a "Day of the Dead" theme. They asked me for help with making centerpieces and this is what I decided to do. I made the larger flowers out of coffee filters and the smaller multicolored flowers out of cupcake liners.

Barb Sutphen on Feb 11, 2015I remember the old time tissue carnations......they were easy and fun......Mom wasn't too crazy about my using up tissues, but they looked nice in a vase....too bad there are no longer colored tissues.....

Love this idea. I bought coffee filters today to make rh see wreath. I will make the flowers to . I feel they are a very nice and elegant way to decorate a table and such may even string light. As for Colors maybe we can make some mums for fall. That would be very pretty.
