    Made one out of an old buffet a few years ago. Removed the top and replaced it with a butcher block top. Love stuff lile this, very unique :)

    Think it is beautiful, but I would have made the top where you could chop food on it. I have a butcher top island and use it for everything.

    Thanks for all of your comments - we really appreciate it! Our original plan was to use butcher block for the top but we were unable to find any locally, and shipping costs were outrageous.
