Since my son was old enough to do arts and crafts, I've wanted a bucket caddy from Pottery Barn Kids. The one thing that kept be from purchasing one for him was the price tag, at $40 it seemed a bit much. I knew I could make one myself and when I found the pieces I need at Target and Goodwill I got to work. For $6 I was able to make my own knock off version, while saving $34!

This is my finished PBK knock off. I think it looks great!
This was my $40 inspiration caddy.
All I needed to make my version was paint I had on hand, a $2 lazy Susan caddy I found at Goodwill and 4 galvanized buckets from the $1 spot at Target. I painted the caddy with my Chalk Paint™ decorative paint by Annie Sloan, then added my containers. I wrote on each container with a liquid chalk pen.
The finished product! Not bad for $6
My son loves his new caddy!
