Re using old wine bottles for wall vases http://arttisbeauty.b...

I did this project years ago, and still have them in my kitchen. They have seen multiple paint jobs in the kitchen and I still love them.

Very crafty. I was curious about the hardware pieces. Glad somebody asked on your blog. You are impressively creative.

I have really gotten into labels...not who makes it or if it is chic...but the colors! I always get "vase fever" when flowers start to bloom so I noticed an oilive oil jar...about 8" tall, square with a stunning label. The bottle has a slight green tint! I washed it...careful not to get label wet...and put the pour spout back in. The hole in the spout is just big enough for 1 flower and it holds it straight! I LOVE this vase...it is sitting in my window. Now that the 106 temps have ...»
ended, so have most of my flowers! So I am picking a variety of beautiful caladium leaves for my window garden.

If you like black chalk board paint as an accessory color (can actually use chalk on) the empty Codon Negro sparkling wine bottles work great, nothing to do but drink it, clean off label (soaks off) and you have them ready. (around $10 price range) That is a GREAT idea for hanging something unique!
