Can I paint the shiny gold motor part of a ceiling fan?
-
Woodbridge Environmental Tiptophouse.com on Sep 08, 2014You sure can! Any good quality spray paint of your choice will be find. Rustoleum paints tend to be the most popular. Use several lighter coats so it does not run when spraying. If the motor has holes or slots, try not to spray directly into those. This is the area where any heat that is generated by the fan when running needs to breath. You can also brush it on if you like.Helpful Reply
