What I Did With an Old Mirror and a Piece of Plywood Any Ideas?

I had no clue what to do with this odd piece of wood and a roadside mirror. Any idea of what I can add to make it better?
I painted the wood with some old paint and added the scroll look with another.
I always have extra butterflies and flowers around. Thought it might add some interest and now don't know if it looks right with all of them?
I put together (tried) a glass arrangement to add to the area.
The last thing I did was add the letter "C" for our last name.
So, here it is. Any ideas? It doesn't seem to pop or something to me, I feel it's missing something or needs something taken away.? All ideas welcome! Thanks!

Use the same little holder things that are used for bathroom mirrors. Just use longer screws to be sure it anchors to the fence.

Oh how I thank-you for this idea! I wish I would have thought of this when I was so disgusted that I didn't want to even try again. However, I did keep the mirror and the board is still up. So when my back gets better (just had major surgery), I will be back out there redoing it and will be even prouder of the job! This is some great suggestion! Thank-you again!
