Darla on Sep 07, 2014Look for a new or used dresser or desk with enough drawers and make it into an island. There are lots of wooden used 5 drawer desks out there.Helpful Reply

Woodbridge Environmental Tiptophouse.com on Sep 08, 2014Many islands are simply other kitchen cabinet bases that have had a finished panel installed on the sides and back. But I would check Ikea for something that may be portable and easy to use. Remember however if its not portable it must by code be fastened to the floor and an electrical outlet must be connected to it. Also check the local kitchen places for one that will match or closely match your current kitchen.Helpful Reply
