Fall Mantel

Last year I did a fairly neutral mantel and wanted to change that up a bit for this year. So, I decided to use the more vibrant colors of fall that I love.
I started with the paper leaf wreath I made and mounted on a chalk board. I love how the wreath pops against that black background.
I added an old twine wrapped bottle with some "faux" fall foliage and sunflowers and a wooden candlestick with a raffia wrapped candle.
On the other side I used my vintage lantern filled with pumpkins and a couple more wooden candle sticks with raffia wrapped candles.
I added a few small pumpkins throughout the mantel to add more color and that traditional fall look that I like. I am really loving this mantel this year - especially now that we have the "faux" pallet board backdrop for everything to play off.
