This was my first time using Annie Sloan Chalk Paint and after getting this buffet for free, I decided that this was a great opportunity to use the paint.
The Before Picture- A water Damaged buffet.
I removed all of the Hardware and drawers and cleaned the surfaces with baby wipes before beginning to paint.
This was my inspiration. A beautiful buffet that I saw on the At Home With The Barkers Blog http://athomewiththebarkers.com/paris-grey-buffet-table/
After applying 1 coat of Paris Grey. (wait at least 20 minutes to an hour between each coat of paint)
After applying the second coat I rubbed the Annie Sloan Clear Wax into the surfaces.
After the clear wax, I applied the dark wax in small sections, wiping the excess off as I went. This was dries quickly so working in small sections is recommended.
I'm extremely happy with the finished product.
