Infusing the French Nordic Look Into My Home a Little at a Time.
I love design and I have added several of my favorites into my Romantic Farmhouse design. I totally changed the look of my kitchen set just by brushing on a little paint.
I really love chalk paint and chalk pens. Here I painted a little personal saying on the back of one of my kitchen chairs. "Welcome to my little peace of heaven."
Here I added the same color to the back drop of my hutch and then used a sponge with a dark brown paint to add a antiquing effect. I also painted the knobs to match.
I made a darling romantic, rustic table runner from burlap, muslin, and netting. I infuse the bluish aqua color into my home because it simple is my favorite color and it makes me happy. Use your favorites it works every time just because YOU love it.
