Bedside Table Makeover

I had a piece of furniture that was my mom's that I wanted to use in my home, but I didn't really like it. I'm not a "cherry furniture" kind of girl, so this piece never fit anywhere in my home. But because it was my mom's, and because I wanted to be able to use it, I decided to paint it to fit in with our bedroom.
I know that some people would never paint a piece of cherry furniture, but I KNOW my mom would be so glad that I did it, and that I was using her furniture every day. My mom loved painting furniture and would have given me a big thumbs for this project.

I love how this piece of furniture makes this corner of our master bedroom look bright and cheery now!
This is the before picture of this piece of furniture. I decided to change out the hardware with some new hardware from Hobby Lobby.
I used KILZ primer to seal the piece first and then added two coats of white Valspar paint. I used a satin wipe on poly to seal it.
I am thrilled with how this piece turned out!
