Pottery Barn Knockoff Storage Bed

One of our main goals at our little mountain cottage is to build in more. storage into every room. Our upstairs bedroom is no exception, and we wanted to have a bed that we could store items underneath.
The Pottery Barn Stratton bed was our inspiration for our storage bed. It was a little too pricey at $1.499 and out of our budget.
The platform bed is basically made up of three of these.
I used the HomeRight Finish Max paint sprayer to apply several coats of paint on the bed for a smooth finish.
Look at all that storage! We will be storing linens, comforters and other longer term storage in the cubbies and will be covering the storage with a custom bed skirt. Stop by the blog to see all of the steps to making the bed and the bed all dressed up! http://www.diydesignfanatic.com/2014/09/pottery-barn-knockoff-storage-bed.html
