Black Dining Table Re-do

We had an old dining table that we inherited from my grandparents when we were newlyweds. It was an 80s style and the backing of the chairs were coming off and had a lot of holes. The table was scratched from many years of wear and tear. We repainted it to look sleek and beautiful.
We made these chairs look sleek and modern. We tore out the backing and recovered the seats too.
The backing was old and coming off. So we sanded it and inserted slats of wood instead.
We created a new back for all the chairs in a few simple steps.
And the final result was beautiful! See more step by step on our blog!

Fantastic job! How did you add the slats in the chairs? What are the materials needed?
