GMO Corn???

Douglas Hunt on Sep 13, 2014Very interesting, and troubling, observations, Phil. I don't know what it is going to take to reach a tipping point on GMOs, but I hope we get there soon. It has been an excellent year for butterflies for me, but there are no farms nearby.Helpful Reply

Catherine Smith on Sep 13, 2014Unfortunately, this is not the first time I've read about this kind of issue. The Organic Consumer's Organization is in an on going battle with Monsanto over the use of GMO seed as I'm sure you know. Independent research is indicating the cross contamination from GMO grown plants is becoming a very serious problem. Not only does it kill off the local insect population, it also effects the pollinator, birds etc. I agree with Douglas this issue is indeed reaching the tipping point. Educating people about the harmful effects is one of the positive things that seem to be ongoing.Helpful Reply

Lesley on Oct 04, 2014I agree. I almost lost one of my cats because he became intolerant to his food that he had been on all his life. I do wonder if there was a change in the formula. All tests were ok for an old cat. He was wasting away and I am convinced he was in his final hours and I gave him Wellness. He immediately tolerated it, no side effects I will be graphic about! He started gaining weight and became our cat again. No grain for pets!!!Helpful Reply
