Accent wall made from distressed pallet wood
by

(IC: professional)
Using pallets that were only used to transport wood, (vs food or chemicals) I used random lengths to create this accent wall. This headboard we built has recessed rope light with a switch on the side as well an outlet on the right hand side to which is handy for charging your cell phone as we all know how short those cords can be. We then cut in flush, wall mount speakers as a part of the surround sound system to create a custom look.

Have a question about this project?
I have heard that pallets are sprayed with pesticides, how did you know that these pallets were safe? Did you stain the wood before you hung them?
