KMS Woodworks on Jul 22, 2012A potentiometer is another name for a variable resistor that is often used to control an electrical output...like a volume control on an old radio. does your range have dimmer for a light or something? If you have access to the the "guts" where the controls and electronics are you may be able to "blow dry" them out. A can of compressed air would be the first trick...then a hair dyer....doing this when the unit is power off is best. In 9 times out of 10 drying stuff out get them back in action...I have my fingers crossed for you.Helpful Reply
