New From Carol Hicks Bolton...Gus Antiques!

I'm so happy to be sharing something
quite remarkable with all of you from the beautiful visionary
and my friend, Carol Hicks Bolton.
She has created a dazzling new space right next door

to her supremely lovely

Carol Hicks Bolton Antiquites.
It has been christened

Gus Antiques & Wonders,

lovingly named after her magical daughter, Gussie.
I've completed two photo shoots here

in the past couple of weeks,

and I feel certain that you will agree

when I say that Carol is a fearless innovator

in a sea of imitators.
I simply adore her. And you should, too.
Gorgeous bedding.
Quaint French curiosities.
Textures and elements blend seamlessly and brilliantly.
Divine fabrics.
Memories from a long-ago place and time.
A place to dream.
A place to create.
A place to find the beauty which lies beneath...
And a place to discover everything you never knew you needed, but now know that you can't live without!
So, I "mustache" you....

how awesome is this hanger???

This is all stuff to be refinished and upholstered, right?

Doris, much of this will be reupholstered, but there are also pieces which are left in their deconstructed beauty. I call those pieces "Velveteen Rabbit" chairs...not everyone sees their beauty. It's a matter of personal taste.

I guess it would be up to whoever bought it as to whether or not they want to refinish, upholster, paint, etc. No effort needed to give it that distressed look, I imagine.
