Love the way you added the nail head trim to the table. Draws the eye just to where you want the attention. -
Love those rattan tables. Why don't I find neat stuff like this at yard sales? *pout -
Fantastic job! Great find. Teresa D, I am so mad with myself because I missed the big yard sale for the United Methodist Children's Home in Decatur on 20 & 21. I even cut out the article in the AJC and posted it on the refrigerator and I still forgot it! If you are really into finding some unique pieces, you will want to try some Goodwill stores and the Vincent St. De Paul stores. I love these places. I go there to buy books. The consignment shops can get expensive, but the thrift stores are usually very reasonable. -
Very cute Danielle! I bet your friend was thrilled. -
Wow what a nice thing to do for your friend and what wonderful finds! I like how you've spruced them up and you can't beat the price! :) -
These are great finds. @Teresa, sometimes you score and sometimes you don't, but don't ever stop looking!

Teresa, you have to be willing to throw it out occasionally! I didn't think those tables would work out but worth a try for $10! -
@Danielle - I'd say and it worked! They look lovely. :) -
They look great! What kind of paint did you use on the rattan? -
Jeanette, if you hear of any other big sales in the area, let me know and maybe I'll go with you or meet you there! -
1614- I used Annie Sloan chalk paint after a good scrubbing with 409. It holds up really well when you rub it down with the AS clear wax! -
Thanks Danielle...good to know! I'm in the midst of my first experience {experiment, ha!} with ASCP. I'm totally hooked, even though I took on a huge project and it's taking forever. ;-) -
Pictures!!
