Simple Bedframe

Don't you hate the look of ugly bed skirts? Me too. I talked my husband into building us a simple bedframe to rid our master bedroom of the ugly bed skirt forever. Our bedframe cost us ~$50.00 and was completed in a week-end. Visit our blog for the full tutorial!
Time: 5 Hours Cost: $50 Difficulty: Moderate

Wow, I like this! Yes, I hate bedskirts. When you have pets, they get dusty and hairy and they are a pain to take off for washings and then put back on. I like seeing under the bed when it's clean and open like this. I'm saving this idea! Will visit your tutorial.

Just looked at your tutorial on your blog, I must say it is the BEST tutorial I have come across. I've been wanting to build my daughter a bed frame so I will be visiting your blog again (and again) for your excellent instructions. Thanks! I think the bed turned out gorgeous by the way!

Looks great Michelle. One question though.... Does the mattress stay put?

It does stay put. We've been sleeping on it for about a month and no issues!

Thanks Michelle. We've been wanting to make a frame similar to this and have put it off because we weren't sure the mattress would stay put.
