This simple to create Linen headboard will add a polished look to your bedroom. I created mine using simple steps and a method that works. I took photos each step of the way and created a list of materials. I am sharing a few images in this post, further steps, instructions and images can be found over at my blog. A link has been added at the end of this post.
Ply board cut to size
Spray adhesive applied to clean plyboard to adhere foam
Foam in place on front of plywood
Layer of batting placed over the top of the foam, ready to cut to size. Allow enough to wrap around the foam and staple in place on the reverse of the board.
Stapling batting on the reverse side of the board
Trimming the batting
This is the completed headboard. For all instructions including materials list and complete step by step visual images, please hop over to my blog there is a link below..

Jeanette S on Sep 18, 2014I love this! A HINT TO CRAFTERS AND SEWERS: One of the best places to look for wide sizes of fabric is tablecloths on sale. I have even used the damask ones for upholstering chairs and it lasted for over a decade until I wanted to change the color!

Hannah V on Sep 18, 2014This is awesome! Especially when headboards cost a fortune! Also, I love that elephant pillow! :)

Lee Caroline - A World of Inspiration on Sep 19, 2014@Hannah V Thanks Hannah for your comment, it cost me under $200. The pillow is so cute, on the other side it has a goat, they are all animals. I saw one for sale and it was a fortune. I spotted the fabric on sale and bought enough to make this cushion for a quarter of the price of the one I saw ready made :)
