Chalk Paint French Style Chest Drawers
by

I took an old but functional, tired chest of drawers and gave them a French look using Chalk Paint™.
This was my first project using Chalk Paint™ and I was surprised how easy it was to achieve this look. The great thing about using Chalk Paint™ is that you don't have to sand or seal. However, as this piece was quite old and had a very dark varnish, I did give it a coat of sealer first.
I have created a post at my blog which shows you step by step how you can achieve this look. I have added photographs each step of the way to help you. You can find a link at the end of this post.

A little bit of distressing.
I lined the drawers with a pretty paper. Please hop over to the blog for step by step details and photos to help you achieve a similar look.

Jeanette S on Sep 18, 2014Very pleasing color. This could go in any room in the house...from the kitchen to the living room! I love pieces like this that take on a completely new purpose when redone! Great job!
