Awesome Produce Storage

As a family of 4 vegetarians, we go through a lot of produce. A LOT! I tried lots of different ways to store the non-refrigerated stuff so that the whole family could access it easily when a snack attack hit hardest.
I tried the hanging produce basket but it just didn't hold enough, not nearly enough.
I had to get creative.
I also folded in then clipped the bottom edge to create a rounded shape. I used my staple gun to secure the baskets in place.
I also purchased some frosty non-adhesive shelf liner which I cut to fit in the bottom of each basket to protect soft fruit from getting grid marks. This also made it easier to clean the baskets when something went bad.
I cut a piece of plexiglass then secured it to the hall/living room side of the passthrough. The final task was to add stained trim along all the edges to give it a more finished look.
Lots and lots of produce!
