DIY Pipe Bar Cart

This summer I endeavoured to not just fix second hand furniture but to build some pieces from scratch. First up: I designed and built this bar cart using galvanized pipes and pine for my friend's new home. I even added glass holders on the underside of the top shelf. My friend was thrilled and I was happy to have pulled it off! For further details check out my blog: http://alifedesigned.blogspot.ca/2012/07/diy...

Love it! Love the combined materials too. Your friend had to be in 7th heaven to have received this.

Love the industrial look of it - and of course I love a well stocked bar! Pinning this to Hometalk DIY board - http://pinterest.com/hometalk/hometalk-diy/

Thank you! Yes, she is quite happy with it! I might even make a matching side table for her this summer!

Way cool! Did you actually make it or design it and have it made?

I'm so loving the "industrial look" lately and you did a fantastic job on this piece!

Very nice job! Yes, wheels would be nice, but some people dont move things around as much as I do, plus without wheels it has a cleaner look to it. You can be my friend anytime!

I added the wheels after I took these pictures. But they're pretty small and you can't even see them but it does lift the cart a couple inches off the ground so that's nice. And yes, Glenda B- I designed it and then built it! Thanks for all the comments!
