LandlightS on Jul 27, 2012Jocelyn.....Yes, you can add a Low Voltage Kable Light System. The system would be suspended from the ceiling 2 inches to 6 inches and connected to a live end connector mounted on the wall at the same height as the drop from the ceiling. Find an outlet near the entrance to the room, tap off that outlet to a wall switch location, and complete the circuit to round junction box that would hold a 60 or 100 watt electronic transformer or a surface mount transformer/ live end connector. I would suggest, depending on the size of the room, using an MR16 lamp element (the Kable fixture) and lamp them with a 3 watt LED MR16 lamp (equal to a 20 watt halogen lamp). If you wanted to add a dimming control, you will need an Electronic Transformer Dimmer. You can see various Kable Systems from Tech Lighting and WAC Lighting and a few other manufactures. Check on-line for Kable (Tech Lighting spelling) Lighting and you will find a dozen or so on-line sellers. Good Lighting.....Gary PS: If you can wait a few months, I'll be visiting the grand-kids in Jersey City again a a few monthsHelpful Reply
