Sealing spray paint

I spray painted some rubber coasters to match our family room colors, but every time we set a cup of coffee or an iced drink on them, the spray paint starts to peel off in small crumbles. Any ideas on how I can seal the spray paint or get it to adhere to the coaster?

Dee, I'm not sure how well spray paint, or any paint for that matter, will stick to rubber when moisture is added.

Think this is a lot of expense and frustration in the works. I'd just get some new coasters in the desired colour.

If you still have the spray paint, maybe try re-doing the coasters by washing thoroughly and then priming first with KILZ or ZEP primer before repainting. That would be my best guess anyway :)
