Love the maple leaf. It turned out gorgeous and what an interisting art form!! -
A very clever use for trim pieces!! Great idea. -
Thank you for the nice compliments. Love to put even the smallest beautiful pieces to use. I plan to do a faux fireplace in this technique painted a soft creamy white when the heat ends. Will it ever end? -
Homa - you KNOW it will never end - and you wouldn't really want it to anyway!! Who are you kidding??? Besides . . . . what would you do then!! -
@ Susan S Lol! So true! -
Very pretty....let us know if this makes this horrible heat lessen and we will all put out something autum! -
decorate for fall already! OF COURSE! bought another ceramic pumpkin at a yard sale Friday. We are finally getting some badly needed rain this morning, 30 minutes east of St. Louis. (but it won't be enough) -
Putting out the autumn decor early has helped! We have had good rain for two days in a roll and expect more today. Sitting on the front porch enjoying a cool 66 degrees. -
that's funny, we are all comparing our terrain to AZ right about now. lol -
You have some great ideas on here! I really like the texture this has it adds so much interest. I personally grow weary of the same old fall decor but this is really gorgeous. -
@Sherry C, thank you. Autumn is my favorite time of year, but orange is about my least favorite color. I'm gonna try to decorate for autumn this year without a bit of orange anywhere.
