It depends on what kind of sink you have!

I assume you are planning on putting a sink into a taller cabinet? If so, then you will need to add a double ended female connector and put in a longer piece of pipe to connect to the sink. Builders have started using kitchen base cabinets in bathrooms for the very reason people want to use them without bending over. You can ask a plumber if the P-trap has to be raised! There are a lot of questions and answers on Google on ptraps.

My husband is six eight and we raised our counter tops in the kitchen. It turned out wonderful, but the only draw back I have with it is the coffeepot, microwave, and some other appliance's don't fit under the cabinets. I would say measure your appliances before buying. We also raised the bed with wooden blocks.
