Jewelry Frame

I have started making these frames with old picture frames. The first one I made was just for messages, pictures etc. But then someone asked if I could make one for her jewelry and put knobs on it. She chose the color and I went to work. Here is the before.
She wanted white. No, white with a touch of pink. OK. I made the chalk paint. 6 coats. I always takes more coats with lighter paint. Slightly distressed. Got it.
Adding the knobs was kind of tricky because there was no flat edge. I managed to make it work. I cut a piece of chicken wire and stapled it to the back. ALWAYS make sure your frame is thick enough for staples or they will poke right through the wood. So sad when this happens. This was a nice thick frame so I didn't need to worry this time. After the chicken wire is in place I put burlap in behind that and stapled that on. I made it wall mountable and TA-DA! Ready to go.
She loved it. So do I.
