Did you have to sand and primer before you painted and what kind of paint did you use.

Jill-we used Behr Ultra from Home Depot for the buffet. That is the best paint I have used because it has primer in it. NO sanding required, although I sanded when I distressed the edges. Hope that helps, if not check out my website :)

I just love your cabinets painted. We did the very same thing to our kitchen cabinets. We even used the same paint! I'm so impressed the the Behr one coat with primer paint. I've even painted my outdoor wooden furniture with and just love the way it holds up. Anyway, beautiful kitchen!
