DIY End Table to Ottoman

Did you ever have a piece of furniture that just wasn't working for you, even though there was nothing wrong with it?There's no reason to just live with it!
In the words of Tim Gunn, MAKE IT WORK.
I took this old end table (that I got for less than $15 at the Habitat Restore), chopped off the top, and made myself a cute little ottoman.
This corner of my office works so much better now with the tree stump end tables instead of a big two tiered coffee table, and a little ottoman at the foot of the chair.
A coping saw took the top off easily, then just a little sandpaper and a DIY upholstered top and it was good to go!

    • @Jeanette S thank you! I do have the other piece saved in my basement- I'm sure the perfect opportunity will pop up for it :)
