Simple Headboard Botanicals

Blythe Brownlow

My husband and I recently made a trip to France (a belated honeymoon), which was of course wonderful! While we were there we found an antique home store that had these great old botanical book prints for 1 euro each!!
So I picked up a few for myself and a few for my sister! I wasn't really sure what to do with them until we moved into our new place!
Then, my grandma found some great old Denver tourist postcards from the 1930s in her attic, which included native Colorado flowers.
I decided to hang them above my headboard to create a simple art piece.
I think it really brings our room together and makes it a calm, pretty place.

awesome! we moved from Seattle and ended up living in this old Grange Hall, built in 1900. www.northstarthall.blogspot.com. We are in the process of finishing a guest bedroom. We have a gallery quality printer and lots of images (I'm a photographer) we've taken to choose from. Your simple idea solves a bunch of problems all at once! Thank you! I'll post a pic when we're done!
