Unique wood grain
Here is a close-up shot of one of our Live Edge tables. It's a new species of wood we ordered for a project...Spalted Maple...I've never seen anything quite like it, have you?

So glad you appreciate authentic wood and wood grains! You have maple that is "spalted", meaning fungi made the dark markings.

Absolutely gorgeous wood. I love beautiful and unusual wood grain and the various maple species provide some lovely grain. I have a china cabinet purchased about 35 years ago and the doors are an olive ash burl. I'm also a sucker for burled wood. I would love to have a live edge table top!
