Easy (Small) Easels Out of Drapery Hooks

These small easels are great to hold small items such as frames, coasters, or even business cards. They are a great quick and easy project to do-even the kids can help out.
These small easels are great for holding coasters, small frames etc.
If you're like me, you have stuff hanging around just waiting for a great repurpose. I had a large baggie of these hooks, some four prong and some two prong. I just started twisting and bending the prongs until I got the right shape to stand on it's own.
You can see I made a mark across the prongs to get a uniform size while bending with the needle nose pliers.

Marion Nesbitt on Sep 25, 2014This is a great solution for what I've wanted - a stand for miniature plates! Have a tin box full of drapery hooks. They don't look as sturdy as yours, but worth a try.
