Yes, You Can: Heating a Home With 240 Recycled Cans

Think you're looking at a pile of cans ready to be recycled? Well, you are, but they may not be going to the recycling plant. Instead they're being used to generate solar power, and a fairly good amount of it!
The folks at Cansolair created this unit, known as the Solar Max 240, capable of generating almost 10,000 BTU or 2600+ watts of energy.
Here you can see a better image, showing the complete unit. The manufacturer claims it can heat a 1,000 sq. ft. home, changing the air completely in 1.5 hours. It works by drawing colder air in from near the floor and pushing warm air through a vent somewhere near the ceiling.
