    I would imagine you've used speakers made for the outdoors. Can you give us some more info on how you did this please. I'd know I'd spend more time on our decks/porches if I had music tuned in. Can this work with your iPod? It looks awesome!

    The speakers are marine speakers. The planters are built out of ceder wood.

    Great idea! I have seen manufactured speaker planter boxes. Not nearly as attractive as yours and they can cost over $300.

    What a great and clever idea! I would be inspired to put on soft music, light many candles and have a romantic dinner at dusk. I'm guessing the wires are secured to the railing then tucked under the decking?
