It's AUTUMN! It's my favorite season here in the West Virginia mountains. I want my porch to reflect my love for this season and all of it's beautiful offerings, so I made a Sunburst Wreath! But just any old wreath form wouldn't do, I wanted something different so I used wood shims!
I also added some florals & wheat from the craft store, sheets of scrapbook paper rolled into cones and place with tacks for a touch of gold.
I used hot glue for the entire thing. I just love the bright colors against the unfinished cedar shims.
I can't wait for company to come over and see the front porch. Do you love Fall as much as I do? I was born and raised in South Louisiana and the seasons were just never vibrant like they are here in West Virginia. Fall is such a gorgeous season, I hope you're enjoying it as much as I am! Hope over to the blog to see more detailed steps for making this wreath.
